Most 100 Mile Raw ingredients are sourced within approximately 100 miles of Greater Vancouver whenever possible. Our Novel Protein Series, including Bison and Elk, is the exception.Quality bison and elk are not consistently available within our local sourcing radius, so we source these proteins from trusted Canadian producers in Alberta. It is still prepared and produced locally in the Lower Mainland using the same approach as the rest of the 100 Mile Raw line.

Just Elk contains 90% grass-fed elk meat, 10% grass-fed elk organs, and calcium carbonate. It’s a simple, single-protein, veggie-free recipe with no fillers, preservatives, or synthetic additives.

Just Elk is a boneless recipe, so calcium carbonate is added to provide a calcium source without using raw bone.

Yes. Just Elk is suitable for both dogs and cats. Elk is a lean, less commonly fed novel protein, making it a great choice for protein rotation, DIY feeding, picky eaters, or pets with sensitivities.

The 1 lb tubes are easy to store, thaw, and portion. The tube packaging also limits air exposure while frozen, helping reduce freezer burn, oxidation, and discolouration. Beef & Chicken Dinner is available in 6 lb and 20 lb boxes.

Thaw tubes in the refrigerator and follow our feeding guide based on your dog’s weight, age, activity level, and individual needs. Once thawed, keep refrigerated and use within 3 days. As with any raw food, wash hands, bowls, utensils, and preparation surfaces after handling.

It’s the more ready-to-feed option for customers who want a complete raw meal without having to build the bowl themselves.In simple terms: Just = simple and customizable. Yes. 100 Mile Raw can be gently cooked, making it a good option for dogs that prefer cooked food or for customers who aren’t comfortable feeding completely raw. Sous vide is a great method because it cooks the food slowly and evenly at a controlled temperature while retaining much of its natural moisture. We do not recommend microwaving 100 Mile Raw. Microwaves can heat food unevenly and create very hot spots. If you prefer to serve it cooked, stick with a gentle, controlled cooking method such as sous vide. Always cool the food to a comfortable serving temperature before feeding.
